Lake Malawi Sailing Regatta Set for September at Joma Adventure Lodge

Lifuwu, Senga Bay | 26–28 September 2025 Greetings sailors! The Lake Malawi Sailing Committee is excited to confirm the dates for the upcoming Sailing Regatta, to be held from 26–28 September 2025 at the scenic Joma Adventure Lodge, Lifuwu (Senga Bay, Salima). This regatta is open to sailors of all levels — from seasoned racers to those who have never sailed before but are eager to learn. With a variety of boats available and the support of experienced sailors, even beginners will have the chance to experience the thrill of sailing on Lake Malawi. Families, friends, and spectators are also warmly encouraged to attend and share in the excitement of the weekend. Participation Fee: 75,000 MWK per participant (payable at the regatta). Accommodation: Limited rooms are available at Joma Adventure Lodge — early booking is recommended. Alternative nearby options include Luro Cottage and Kumbali Retreat (see poster for details). In addition to the sailing, Joma Adventure Lodge offers a restaurant and well-stocked bar, with special catering updates to be announced soon by the lodge’s host, Guy.
